Latest WhatsApp update

WhatsApp recently introduced a new feature for its Android and iOS users called the live location sharing. This came last week. But now more new features are on their way for WhatsApp users. The Facebook owned messaging platform is preparing to bring few more features for its users. One of these features is going to be voice and video group calling.

With this new feature users will be able to make conference calls -- both voice and video -- to their friend, family members as well as office colleagues. This is not the first time that we are hearing about the WhatsApp group calling feature. But now, WaBetaInfo -- a site that tests new WhatsApp features -- notes that the feature is being tested and will soon be rolled out to those who use beta version of WhatsApp.

According to WaBetaInfo, WhatsApp may roll out the group calling feature in its next beta update. It notes that the users will get the feature in the 2.17.70 beta WhatsApp update. "The 2.17.70 iOS update has very hidden references to group calls! Before it was an internal news, now it's all confirmed. There are a lot of hidden references about group voice calls, but there is only one reference to group video calls. So group video calls are partially confirmed at the moment," WaBetaInfo tweets.

This means that the beta testers will get the group calling feature in the next WhatsApp update. This probably indicates that WhatsApp may officially roll out the feature very soon. Some reports that leaked earlier hinted that WhatsApp may roll out the group voice and video calling feature next year, but then, considering the fact that the update is soon coming to the beta users, chances are that the official roll out of the feature to all users would happen in the next several weeks.

Thanks for your valuable comments. It will show after approval.
